Dhurandhar (transl. Stalwart) is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language spy action thriller film written, produced, and directed by Aditya Dhar. It is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
It boasts of an ensemble of heavyweights like Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.
The film, part one of a two-part series, focuses on a high-octane anti-terror covert mission that sees an undercover agent embedded in the criminal and political underbelly of Karachi. Based loosely on real-life geopolitical events, including the IC-814 hijacking, the Indian Parliament attack, and the 2008 Mumbai attacks
Shooting happened in Punjab, Maharashtra, Chandigarh, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh, besides Thailand. Shashwat Sachdev composes the music.
Dhurandhar is one of the longest Indian films ever made, with a runtime of 214 minutes. It was released on 5 December 2025, with mixed-to-positive reviews, and was a huge box office hit, grossing ₹1,000 crore in just three weeks.
