Recently, he was shown in a superhero costume while giving the news to his fans and followers about his return as Shaktimaan, which led the audience to troll him including he needs to move on from his character now.

Upon asking him about his appearance in Shaktimaan Costume, Mukesh shared in an ANI interview, “This is a costume within me…I think personally too, in my mind, this costume has come from within me…I did well in Shaktimaan because it came from within me…Acting is all about confidence. I forget about the camera when I am shooting… I am even happier than the others about becoming Shaktimaan again.”

Sharing the reasons for his return as Shaktimaan, he further stated “I am carrying out my duty that I started in 1997 and which went on till 2005. I think that my work should reach the public in 2027 because today’s generation is running blindly. They have to be stopped and told to catch their breath…”

This “Coming back” announcement appeared in the backdrop of the information about the movie, being created based on the show with the speculations around casting Ranveer Singh as Shaktimaan. In an interview, both actor Mukesh Khanna and actress Vaibhavi McDonald expressed their disapproval of choosing Ranveer as Shaktimaan.

Besides, the news of his return didn’t please the audience as some remarked his coming back decision as getting stuck in the past, while others suggested he should move on and give this chance to someone else. A popular comment made by a person, “It’s time to move on. He could have done a cameo or someone who advised the new shaktiman time to time so that his ego can be satisfied too”.
