3. Panjab ’95 – 7 February 2025
Panjab ’95 is a 2025 Indian Hindi language period drama film directed by Honey Trehan. The movie is produced by RSVP Movies of Ronnie Screwvala. It is the adaptation of the story of a very prominent Sikh human rights activist, Jaswant Singh Khalra. The film stars Diljit Dosanjh, Arjun Rampal, and Suvinder Vicky.
The film was initially proposed to be named Ghalughara, which means massacre, but due to the objection of the Censor Board, the movie title was changed to Punjab 95 with 120 cuts of scene. Further, due to intervention by SGPC, it was decided to release this movie uncut, but the name is being given Panjab ’95 instead of Ghalughara. Its trailer was taken down from YouTube in India just a day after it was appeared on YouTube.
