Cast of Ramayana (2026): Full Cast & Crew, OTT Release Date & Details

Cast of Ramayana. One of the biggest cinematic extravaganzas from India, Ramayana: Part 1, is set to hit the theatres on November 8. Nitesh Tiwari directs the film, which is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios, and features Ranbir Kapoor (Ram), Sai Pallavi (Sita), and Yash (Ravana). Filmed in IMAX with state – of – the- art VFX by Oscar-winning unit DNEG, and a musical partnership for the ages between A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer. Budgeted around ₹4,000 crore, this two-part epic is expected to redefine India’s greatest legend on a global scale.

Cast of Ramayana OTT Release

Cast of Ramayana: Part 1 does not have an OTT platform or a release date as of April 2026. The film is expected to release in theatres on November 8, 2026 (Diwali), and OTT streaming rights will be negotiated only after the theatrical run.

Producer Namit Malhotra was said to have declined ₹700 crore for the OTT rights of both parts combined – an Indian film record – fine-tuning what he deemed insufficient given the cost of twinning a ₹4,000 crore budget. Cast of Ramayana, word on the street is that he is demanding a ₹1,000 crore package deal with an OTT player for both parties.

Platforms such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and Jio Cinema are likely to be in the fray for the rights. Due to the scale and budget, the OTT window will most probably open 8 – 12 weeks post-theatrical release – meaning OTT may happen sometime in early 2027 at best.

Note: These are estimates based on current reports. Look for official announcements as the movie’s release date draws near.
